About this work
This vase-shaped blown glass drug jar has a flared lip and round foot. The blue and yellow baroque-style label is without marks. Containers with blank labels could be filled with different ingredients depending on the apothecary's needs. When the contents of the jars were replaced, apothecay would write the appropriate name in the medallion.
