About this work

Jacquard woven ribbon with floral and botanical design on black ground composed of a large white flower with polychrome highlights surrounded by pink rosebuds and smaller white, and red flowers; green leaves and yellow berries; narrow green band along edge. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Graditude Train from France.
