About this work

Egg-shaped earthenware pot, covered with a grey-green craquelé glaze. The upper part of the body with engraved floral scrolls; the lower part with a band of raised leaf motifs. The neck is set in a (recent?) silver mount with leaf scrolls and pointed leaf motifs. The glaze is largely worn.
