About this work

The body, handle, and spout of this teapot resemble bamboo stalks. The decoration comprises two layers: the upper layer portrays dragons in pursuit of a pearl, while the lower one features auspicious motifs, including deer, cranes, and clouds. A seam on the pot's body reveals its construction, consisting of two halves that were cast in a mould and joined together.
