About this work

Egg-shaped stoneware pot with a wide neck and spreading rim, covered with a green and yellow glaze. Applied lotus vines on the wall and shoulder. Around the foot a band with raised leaf motifs. On the shoulder six C-shaped handles. Glaze peeling in some places. 'Tradescant Jar'.
