Tea pot with crane, egret and diaper patterns

Teapot of stoneware with a cylindrical body, rounded shoulder, S-shaped spout and C-shaped handle, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, black and gold. On the belly a crane with bamboo and a silver heron with reeds at the water's edge; above that clouds. The shoulder with a band of hatching. On the handle scrollwork and loose flowers; the spout with a stylized leaf. The foot with a band with a meander pattern. The lid with two dragonflies. A chip in the rim of the lid. The overglaze decoration is possibly of later date. Kyoto Satsuma.
