About this work
Teapot of stoneware on a square footring, covered with a blue-grey glaze and painted in underglaze blue. The outer wall is covered with an incised wave motif. Upon this a modelled, rearing horse with the mane, tail and hooves in blue. Old label on the underside with 'W689'. Somayaki.
