Gourd-shaped vase of porcelain, painted on the glaze in red and gold. The lower part of the body with four lobed cartouches with flower vines, between the cartouches also flower vines; above that a band with medallions with swastika pattern and hatching. Between the two bulges a band with flower vines. The upper part of the body with four medallions with flower vines, between the medallions also flower vines; above that a band of trellis work with medallions. The neck with a band with flower vines and diamonds with vines above that. Around the foot a decorative band and a band with hatching. The underside with the inscription 'Kasugayama', [name]; 'Tenpo nensei', 'made in the Tenpo period'; 'Minzan' [name], mark. Rim is restored. Kasugayama.
