About this work
Porcelain cup and saucer with a spreading wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow and black. On the flat of the saucer a medallion with a woman and a boy in a landscape near trees and rocks; around the medallion lacework with three flowers and three cartouches with a bird or insect on a flower branch (plum, peony, lotus); the inner rim with a band with scrollwork. The cup with the same decoration. A crack in the wall of the cup. Famille rose.
