About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain bowl with spreading wall and scalloped rim, painted in underglaze blue. The lower part of the wall is modelled in a band of flower petals with a flower branch in each, above that flower branches; on the base a peony branch in a medallion; the inner wall with a peach branch and flower branch; the rim in blue with flowers reserved. Marked on the underside with a flower branch in a double circle. Two cracks in the wall; rim slightly damaged. Blue and white.
