About this work
Lid of a lidded pot of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, black and gold. On the outer wall, floral scrolls with alternating cut-outs of a lotus scroll and a cartouche with a crane. Around the knob, a band with pointed leaf motifs. Knob in the form of a rooster on a rock. Imari.
