About this work
Lid of a covered porcelain pot, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red, black, and gold. On the outer wall, floral scrolls with alternating cut-out lotus scrolls and cartouches with a heron. Around the knob, a band with pointed leaf motifs. Knob in the form of a rooster on a rock. Imari.
