About this work

Porcelain bowl, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, black and gold. On the flat surface the coat of arms of the Valckenier family. The coat of arms has in the middle a tree stump with half moons on either side and a helmet with the falcon as a crest. The mantling is in red, blue and gold. On the body three flower groups; the inner rim with a decorative band. Old label on the underside with 'Lefebvre Antiquaire/ 55. r. de Chateaudun PARIS/ no. 5626 SIL HSS'. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
