About this work

Porcelain bowl, painted overglaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the field the coat of arms of the family Udemans. The coat of arms is divided into two parts: 1. on a red background two fish or dolphins in gold, swimming in water, 2. on a blue background the letters 'W' and 'U' in black and in the centre a golden star. The crest is a dove and the mantling consists of scrolling foliage in gold. On the rim a spearhead border. A crack and several chips in the rim. Coat of arms porcelain with enamel colours.
