About this work

Plate of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, brown, black and gold. On the flat two pheasants on a rock with flowering plants; on the wall and rim the coat of arms of the Munro family with an eagle; the crest, an eagle, on the opposite side on the rim above which a scroll with the motto 'DREAD GOD', 'Fear God'; between these two lobed cartouches with a river landscape with ships. Coat of arms porcelain with enamel colours.
