About this work
Porcelain cup with a stepped wall and scalloped rim, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the wall an unidentified family coat of arms. The coat of arms is divided into five quarters with in 1st a coat of arms with a flowerpot and four stars on a blue ground surrounded by flags; 2nd and 5th a half-naked figure with a spear in the water; 3rd a boar before a tree; 4th five red jugs against a gold background. The crest is a crown with pearls. Around the coat of arms military attributes and two trumpets. The rim with loose flower branches and a spearhead border. Heraldic porcelain with enamel colors.
