About this work

Porcelain tureen with C-shaped handle, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the base an unidentified family coat of arms with three bird heads on a white background with a red/gold chevron. The coat of arms is surrounded by leafy vines and palm branches. On either side of the coat of arms are peony branches. On the outer rim a band with lacework interrupted by cartouches with a floral vine; above the coat of arms a cartouche with the crest, a bird. Coat of arms porcelain with enamel colours.
