About this work

Porcelain bowl with round wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. On the flat two women stand under a pavilion and around the pavilion four children play, in the foreground three ducks in a pond and on both sides of the pavilion plants with birds; on the rim stylized leaves on lacework with here twelve cut-out cartouches with butterflies, flower and fruit branches; on the outer rim a decorative band. Decoration after a design by Cornelis Pronk (1691-1754). European representation in enamel colors.
