On the flat of the dish, an inscription in French: 'Air Nouveau 2 / Il Arrest a mon Ame / En me donnant le bonjour / Me disant chere Jeanne / Pour toij je brule d'amour / Sans Colin jalois mourir / Mais Colin m'a scu guerir'; on the wall, a band with floral scrolls; the rim with lacework alternating with six small medallions and six cartouches with flowers; the back with four flower branches. A chip in the rim and a crack in the wall. European representation in underglaze blue.
