About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain cup and saucer, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, purple, black and gold. On the front of the saucer a seascape with a Chinese junk next to a fort in the middle of the water, in front of the junk three boats, on the waterfront some trees and houses; the inner rim with a band of lacework. The cup with the same decoration. A chip in the rim of the cup and of the saucer. Famille rose.
