Bowl with a flowerbasket and a courting couple in a landscape

Porcelain bowl, painted in underglaze blue and in enamel red, green, yellow, black and gold. On the outer wall a Japanese decoration in underglaze blue with scrollwork and a band with lacework. The original decoration was overpainted in Europe with enamel colors. On the outer wall a landscape with a village and a caressing European couple sitting on a wall. On the base a basket of flowers; the inner wall with three floral branches; on the inner rim a band with lacework and leafy tendrils. Overdecorated (Amsterdam bont).
