About this work
Porcelain plate, painted overglaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the flat surface a lying stag among flowering plants by a rock and mushroom (lingzhi); on the wall lacework alternating with a lotus in a cartouche; the rim with a band of lotus and peony scrolls against a background of scrollwork. On the back three mushrooms. Famille rose.
