About this work

High, hexagonal lidded cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the flat of the saucer a flower rosette in a medallion; around this six compartments with flowering plants (e.g. lotus, chrysanthemum, peony) with bird or insect; the back with six times a flower branch. Cup and lid with the same decoration. Famille rose.
