About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain with flaring wall, painted on the glaze in red, pink, green, black and gold. On the ground of the saucer a medallion with a working farmer with a stick in the water at a pine tree and bushes; around the medallion reserved, stylized flowers and three cartouches with flowering plants against a gold ground. Cup has been broken. Famille rose.
