About this work

Cup and saucer of porcelain with straight, flaring wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow and black. On the flat of the saucer compartments in the shape of a flower, in the center a lotus and in the petal-shaped compartments flower scrolls on differently colored lacework; on the rim a swastika pattern. The cup with the same decoration. A crack in the wall of the saucer and several in the wall of the cup. Famille rose.
