About this work

Porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black, and gold. On the plate a medallion containing oxherds and a woman with an ox on a lead in a river landscape; on the inner rim a band of scrolls with alternating round cartouches in reserve containing a flower branch or bamboo, and cartouches with a plant with insects or a bird on a branch. Famille rose/Mandarin.
