About this work
Octagonal porcelain plate, painted on the glaze in green, pink, black and gold. On the flat surface a peony branch in a medallion with spearhead-border; the wall with lotus scrolls alternating against a green ground with scrollwork or pink ground with 'frog spawn'. Wall has been broken. Famille rose.
