Saucer-dish with Budai and two servants

Bowl of porcelain with lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat a sitting Budai or Putai with in the foreground a gourd jar and a shoe. Behind him two servants. The wall is modelled in twisted compartments with alternately a leaf motif in blue or cut out in a blue background. The rim with a band with spiral work. Marked on the underside with 'fuku' in a double square. Ko-sometsuke in blue and white.
