Covered jar with monster heads and gilded bands with ruyi motif

Lidded porcelain pot, the body slightly flaring upwards with a rounded shoulder, covered with a monochrome crazed grey glaze and gilded biscuit. On either side of the pot, a monster head with a ring; around the foot, shoulder, and neck, a band with ruyi motifs, decoration in gilded biscuit. The lid with the same decoration; the finial in the form of a gilded shishi (lion-dog). Gilding is flaking. Monochromes.
