About this work
Ton-shaped porcelain pot built up of three concave layers stacked above one another, painted overglaze in red, green, yellow, aubergine and black with floral scrolls and geometric motifs. Each layer has a different decoration: the lower one filled with lotus scrolls, the middle one with geometric motifs interrupted by cartouches with a floral sprig, the upper one with floral scrolls cut out in a red ground; scrollwork applied around the foot. Famille verte.
