About this work

Ton-shaped porcelain pot built up from three concave layers stacked on top of each other, painted on the glaze in red, green, yellow, aubergine, and black with floral scrolls and geometric motifs. Each layer has a different decoration: the bottom is filled with lotus scrolls, the middle with geometric motifs interrupted by cartouches with a floral branch, the top with floral scrolls cut out in a red ground; scrollwork is applied around the foot. Famille verte.
