About this work

Large porcelain bowl, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, turquoise, black, and gold. The exterior of the bowl is covered with a red glaze with gold floral scrolls; within this, four shaped cartouches are cut out, depicting playing boys in a landscape with rocks and trees; around the foot, a band with floral scrolls; on the interior and within the foot ring, the bowl is covered with a turquoise glaze. A crack in the rim. Famille rose.
