Bowl with floral scrolls, prunus trees and dragons in panels and diaper patterns

Porcelain bowl on high, spreading foot, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red, green, black and gold. The outer wall is divided into compartments with alternating swastika pattern, wave pattern and floral scrolls with two cut-out cartouches containing a three-clawed cloud dragon above surging waves and two cartouches with a plum tree with bamboo, a bird and a cloud. Around the foot a decorative band. On the bottom a medallion with stylized floral scrolls. The inner rim with 'karakusa' and lotus scrolls. A crack in the wall. Imari.
