About this work

Porcelain cup, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. Large, flowering plants (peony, chrysanthemum, aster) behind a rock and a small fence depicted; the rim with guilloche alternating with a floral branch in a cartouche; a floral branch on the base. Chinese Imari.
