About this work

Porcelain cup, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. Large, flowering plants (peony, chrysanthemum, aster) depicted behind a rock and a fence; the rim alternates with lacework and a floral branch in a cartouche; a floral branch on the base. A crack in the wall. Chinese Imari.
