About this work

Painting in enamel on a copper plate. A Chinese man, woman, and child are in a pavilion. A servant brings tea. In the foreground two small dogs. The front is framed on the left side and top by a curtain. The figures and architectural elements are depicted in low relief. Original frame with black lacquer and gold squirrels and grapevines.
