About this work
Baluster-shaped covered jar of porcelain with a wide neck, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze gold. The body is divided into three rows with scalloped, rectangular compartments with alternately a flowering plant near a rock and luck symbols and antiquities. On the neck a band with lotus scrolls cut out in a blue background. The underside is unglazed. Lid with the same decoration. Blue-and-white with gold enamel.
