About this work

Cylindrical porcelain vase with a body tapering slightly towards the bottom and a short, wide neck, painted in underglaze blue. On the belly two broad bands with floral scrolls; the band under the shoulder is interrupted by scalloped cartouches with floral scrolls reserved in a blue ground. Above the foot and on the shoulder a band with blue triangles with a half flower in reserve. On the neck a band with standing leaf motifs. Blue and white.
