About this work
Bottle-shaped vase of porcelain with a cylindrical body and short, spreading neck, painted in underglaze blue. On the belly a broad band with linked ruyi-shaped cartouches with carved out flower vines against a blue background. Above the foot a band with a zigzag pattern and stylised leaf motifs. On the shoulder a band with a zigzag pattern and hanging ruyi motifs. On the neck pointed leaf motifs. Blue and white.
