About this work
Bottle-shaped vase of porcelain with a globular body and slightly flaring, long neck, painted in underglaze blue. The body and the lower part of the neck are covered with continuous lotus scrolls and leaves. Above that a decorative band and a band with pointed leaf motifs. On the foot and rim a decorative band. Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Jiajing in a double circle. Blue and white.
