About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain cup with a scalloped rim, painted in underglaze blue. The lower part of the wall is modelled in petal-shaped compartments filled with a landscape or a rider; the upper part of the wall is also modelled in compartments alternately filled with a chrysanthemum branch and a pomegranate branch. On the base, a rider in a landscape. The inner rim with a band of lacework interrupted by medallions with a person in a landscape. Blue and white.
