About this work
Large bowl of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat in a medallion two flying fenghuangs between lotus vines. The inner rim with a band of flower vines. On the outer wall six cranes separated by flaming clouds. On the foot a band with scrollwork. The underside is unglazed. Ming porcelain in blue-white.
