Saucer-dish with flower sprays in shaped panels on a diaper-pattern ground

Bowl of porcelain, covered with a pink glaze and painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the front of the dish a lobed cartouche with a peony plant in a square scalloped cartouche with lacework, at the corners a stylised lotus vine; on each side of the square a smaller lobed cartouche with a flowering plant (peony, chrysanthemum, iris, balloon flower) against a ground of lacework; on the inner rim a band with lacework; the outside covered with a pink glaze. Famille rose with a ruby back.
