Oval basin with four masks connected by garlands

Oval porcelain basin, painted in underglaze blue and gilded on the glaze. On the outer rim four stylised masks with scrollwork and vines on both sides; the masks are connected by garlands over the belly; between the garlands a flower rosette each; below the masks a band with a decorative pattern; the inner wall with four large peony branches and butterflies; the inner rim with six butterflies; around the foot a band with hanging leaves. European representation in blue and white.
