About this work
Formal furisode kimono for an unmarried young woman, decorated on the lower part of the sleeves, front and back panels with cranes flying above pine branches. Black crêpe silk (chirimen) with yuzen decoration in white, green, brown, pink, and blue, with embroidered detailing of the birds. Red silk lining. Three family crests (mon) of two crossed arrow feathers (yabane).
