Men's Haori with the Old Cormorant Fisher from 'Ukai'

Haori for a man with a decoration on the lining of a rectangular depiction of an old man in a boat fishing at night with cormorants, a basket and a fire basket in the boat, against a background of a silhouette depiction of hills and a man fishing with cormorants in a boat. On the rectangle a text. The fish (usually ayu) are attracted by the fire; the tethered cormorants are prevented from swallowing the fish by an iron ring around their necks. This depiction and text probably refer to the No-theater play Ukai (The Cormorant Fisher), in which two monks meet an old cormorant fisherman by the Isawa River, who turns out to be a spirit.
