About this work

Plate of porcelain with upright wall and slanted rim, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold with flower branches and river landscapes. The plate is covered with bleu poudré (powder blue) with hereon in gold flower branches on the wall, on the rim lobed compartments with flower branch; on the flat a cartouche in reserve with bracket-shaped border filled with a river landscape with persons, pavilions, mountains and trees; on the wall scalloped cartouches in reserve with alternately a river landscape and a flower branch with rocks; on the back three times a floral scroll. Marked on the underside with a rhombus in a double circle. Bleu poudré with famille verte.
