About this work
Porcelain tureen, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, black and gold. On the outer wall of the bowl three flower groups with peony, aster and bamboo; on the outer rim a broad decorative band with flower sprays on a trellis and hanging lotus tendrils with lucky symbols (musical stone, ruyi motif); on the base a large flower group and on the inner wall three flower groups; the inner rim with a band of ruyi motifs. Famille rose.
