About this work

Dish with round wall of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface a stylized lotus and peony scroll in a medallion; around the medallion a linked pattern of lotus and peony scrolls; the rim with a zigzag pattern; the reverse with four mushroom (lingzhi) motifs. Marked on the underside with the character 'Yù', jade, in a double circle. Blue and white.
