About this work
Porcelain teapot with pear-shaped body, C-shaped handle and slightly curved spout, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, black and gold. On the wall twice a flower rosette surrounded by lotus scrolls. The handle and the spout surrounded by a cartouche with leaf scrolls and 'frog spawn'. Around the foot a band with lotus scrolls in cartouches. Imari.
